Free Video Guitar Lessons Online

Online Guitar Lessons on Video

Free video guitar lessons can teach you how to play the guitar a lot better than one-on-one guitar lessons, and they are free, so why would you pay for guitar lessons from an ordinary guitar teacher.

One problem with free video guitar lessons online, is that they can sometimes go at a faster rate than the guitar student can learn at, which sometimes means they don’t learn anything on the guitar.

But if you choose a series of free video guitar lessons that are tailored to beginner guitar students, you can’t go wrong.

I made these free video guitar lessons, and they start at the basics for beginners, and move on to other free video guitar lessons that cover some complicated guitar techniques like tapping.

They cover the Flamenco scale, and some of the other alternatives to the classical scales. I will teach you how to play all of the classical chords, and then show you how to construct your own songs using basic formulas.

There is a video guitar lesson on the blues scale, and how to play the blues, and I also goes into how to play metal, rock and roll, and even jazz music. Keep practicing, and make sure you check out my free video guitar lessons.

You can see a list of all of them on my facebook page: Guitar lessons online.

RICH’S REVIEW….
The writer made this comment; “One problem with free video guitar lessons online, is that they can sometimes go at a faster rate than the guitar student can learn at, which sometimes means they don’t learn anything on the guitar.”  All I can say is…the lessons are on video…if you want you can play them over and over, and/or  stop them during the lesson. YOU ARE IN CONTROL!  Just make sure that you get good content from your instructor! (which by the way…this guy is pretty good)

Learn How to Play Blues Guitar

Learn How to Play Blues Guitar

Has it always been a dream of yours to be able to play a musical instrument? Are you interested in learning how to play a certain style of guitar called the blues? Are you ready for some blues guitar lessons? Up until recently, it was difficult to find qualified instructors who could teach in this style of music. As the Internet continues to grow, it is now possible to find blues guitar lessons. Your best bet in learning how to play the guitar in this style would actually be through online instruction.

Blues music can be traced to the early 20th century, deep southern section of the United States. Blues has its origins with the spiritual chants, work songs and ballads associated with the African-American community. Blue music, like jazz is characterized by its specific chord progression within the compositions. The “12 bar” is the most common of these chord progressions found in blues music. The actual “blue note” within the progression is played or sung slightly flattened, (or “bent”) in relation to the pitch of the major scale.

So, as you can tell blues guitar music would be quite different from other styles: acoustic rock, country, or even classical guitar. If you desire to become proficient in playing the blues, seeking the right instruction is paramount to your eventual success. Not every guitar instructor can play, let alone even understand the blues. Would you want to learn the blues guitar from some teacher who is only familiar with folk guitar? Only a certified blues guitar instructor would be able to teach you the instrument in this style.

Interactive music programs can now be found on the internet. The problem is that not all sites can even offer blues guitar lessons. It is why you definitely need to take your time and do the research before you commit even one penny for lessons. Find an online music program that specifically states that blues guitar lessons are offered. Read the testimonials of students who have successfully been taught how to play in the blues style. The site’s instructors must be certified at both playing the instrument well, and in teaching students how to play in this particular style of guitar. Remember, blues is not the same as rock, or folk guitar. Only blues guitar would include instruction related to the fundamental melodic, chord progression, and “licks” associated with this genre. With the proper instruction, only then would you progress and eventually master the instrument.

Since you have an interest in blues guitar, you undoubtedly know of one of the most famous 20th century musicians who played the instrument: B.B. King. King’s most popular and well-known song is entitled: “The Thrill is Gone”, which was a Grammy-award winning composition. This song once simultaneously topped both the pop and R & B charts, back in the late 1950’s. You may also know of the group “Led Zeppelin”. The group is commonly known as one of the greatest rock bands of all-time. Educated and expert music critics understand, however, that several of “Zeppelin’s” more famous compositions, (particularly the song “Dazed and Confused”) have strong elements of the blues melodically and harmonically ingrained within the chord progressions.

Beginning Guitar Lessons on Video

Learning guitar lessons and licks from friends, and imitating the greats is something that we definitely encourage and support. Guitar is a pleasant-sounding musical instrument having a large flat-backed sound box, with an extended long hassled neck, and usually six strings, played by pulling, plucking or strumming.

When starting out at guitar or trying to enhance certain aspects of your playing, it is essential to nurture this self-confidence by staying honest with ourselves and our aims.  If we are in denying the truth about our abilities in any form or fashion, we impede ourselves from building our true confidence and actually hurt our personal guitar improvement.

We should expect long-term success, even though short-term failures may occur.  This form of confidence comes from acknowledging and that failure is an important part of reaching goals.  Even though you may not learn that new song or new scale right away, you feel confident that you will sooner or later succeed if you carry on and stick with it.
I don’t know how to play flute or trumpet or drums very well.   But I feel confident that even though at first I would completely fail, in due course I would look forward to become pretty good.  I am positive and confident in my ability to practice and get my hands on new skills, because I am being truthful and open about my current capabilities.

This Long-Term success is very important to anyone at any stage of their guitar journey.  You are going to run into a lot of difficulties and road blocks with the guitar and music.  But you just need to be honest with yourself and know that there is no limit to how musically great you can get.
